Study Area, General Theme and Topics

The study area of this second edition of the IP in Cardiff remained the Cardiff Bay area and the Wales region. It focussed again on the innovation strategies concerning the regional economy and the Cardiff Bay redevelopment project. The three topic teams were slightly different from the first year and concerned: a) Innovation and economic development; b) Urban design and regeneration; c) Planning and the environment.
